Eligibility

First day of the month following your hire date

  • Coverage begins for salaried associates.

First day of month following status change to Full-Time

  • Coverage begins for hourly associates whose status changed to full-time after their 91st day of employment.

91st day following your hire date

  • Coverage begins for full-time hourly associates.
  • Coverage begins for all new hourly and salaried associates enrolled in the Health Care Flexible Spending Account.

Within three to four weeks after you enroll for benefits

  • You will receive your new medical ID card from your medical, dental, and vision carrier.
  • If you elected to contribute to a Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA), you will receive a health care spending card from Optum Financial.
  • If you enrolled in the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) and elected to contribute to a Health Savings Account (HSA). You will be issued an HSA debit card to pay for your eligible health care expenses.

Every fall

  • Open enrollment is your once-a-year opportunity to review and make changes to your benefits choices.
  • Your new benefits elections become effective the following Jan. 1.
